Our Team

Alison Frazier
Founder of Awake & Align Yoga and Fitness
With a deep-rooted passion for health and wellness, I’ve spent my life helping others heal—both physically and holistically. As a dedicated nurse, I’ve had the privilege of caring for patients through some of their most challenging moments, always driven by compassion, knowledge, and a desire to make a difference.
Over the years, my journey in healthcare led me to explore the world of yoga, where I found not only physical strength but mental clarity and emotional balance. Yoga quickly became more than a practice ; it became a way of life. Today, as a RYT 200, I blend my clinical experience with holistic health principles, believing that true wellness is found in the harmony of mind, body, and spirit.
Whether I’m on the mat or at the bedside, my goal is the same: to Support healing, inspire balance, and empower others to take charge of their well-being.

Angie Wisely
Founder of Awake & Align Yoga and Fitness
Angie Wisely has been passionate about health and wellness for as long as she can remember. A Registered Nurse for over 20 years, her dedication to helping other live healthier, more fulfilling lives has been the foundation of both her medical and fitness journey.
Angie discovered yoga in 2016 while living in Seattle, Washington. Introduced by a friend, she quickly fell in love with the practice—not just for its physical benefits like increased flexibility and strength, which supported her powerlifting training, but for also the deep sense of calm and balance it brought to her life. Yoga became her personal sanctuary and a powerful tool for stress relief and mental clarity.
Drawn to the welcoming, uplifting energy of yoga studios and the positive community they create, Angie was inspired to open her own studio. Her mission is to create a space where others can experience the same mind-body connection, peace, and personal growth that yoga has given her.

I also love to incorporate meditation and mindfulness to help us stay in the present moment!

Monica Hall
Monica Hall is a RYT 200, along with Yin and Restorative Yoga certifications. She has practiced yoga for 14 years and has been teaching for 5. As with many people an injury brought her into the practice not knowing what to expect. After a few months of consistent practice, she was able to move more freely! Her passion for yoga grew over the years so much that she wanted to share her love for yoga with others. Yoga provided a safe space and she wants that for others. The connection to breath and the awareness of body and mind is very important to her teachings. She is a mom of 3 wonderful children, grandma, and wife to a supportive husband. Her area of yoga is mostly Vinyasa flow of all types focusing on energetic, purposeful, and intentional flows. She also believes it is important to slow down and take the time to reconnect with self in restorative classes. Her goal is to help you feel the best you can by the end of class.

Josephine Eiffert
My yoga journey began to strengthen my body but quickly grew into something far deeper than movement and flexibility. After years of practicing and following the path of my grandfather, transitioning from student to instructor became a meaningful goal of mine. From power flows to restorative classes, the mind-body connection is a central focus in my teaching. I aim to create a space that feels intentional, supported, and at times challenging. As an instructor, my goal is to guide students through flows that feel accessible and empowering, helping each person leave the mat feeling confident and connected.

Madalyn Moses
Madalyn is a yoga and embodiment instructor, and coach devoted to helping people reconnect with their bodies through mindful strength, intentional movement, and nervous-system-informed practices. Her classes blend grounding breathwork, slow strength, gentle mobility, and somatic awareness to create experiences that are both physically empowering and deeply restorative. In addition to teaching yoga, Madalyn works privately with coaching clients and facilitates workshops focused on emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and rebuilding trust with the body. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals who feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck in cycles of pressure around food, body image, or self-worth, guiding them toward greater calm, confidence, and connection both on and off the mat. Her teaching style is warm, grounding, and intentional, creating spaces where students feel safe to slow down, build strength, and come home to themselves.

Kari Schlak
With over a decade of study and teaching experience, I am an E500-hour Hatha-trained yoga teacher rooted in accessible, inclusive instruction. I completed my foundational training through Beth Spindler of Teach to Inspire Yoga, whose mentorship shaped my belief that yoga should be adaptable and welcoming to all bodies and levels. I am a certified prenatal yoga teacher through Roots Prenatal, with specialized training in pregnancy and the changing body. I began teaching prenatal yoga in 2013 and have continued to support women through pregnancy, the postpartum period, and parenting with informed, experience-based guidance. In addition to prenatal and post natal yoga, I hold certifications in caregiver and baby, toddler, kids, and family yoga, along with ongoing education in women’s health and holistic care. Beyond the mat, I serve as a birth and postpartum doula and have completed additional training to support families through both joyful and tender transitions. This work deepens my understanding of the nervous system, strength, and the evolving body, and it continues to shape how I teach. My classes are rooted in traditional Hatha principles, emphasizing steady breath, thoughtful alignment, and intentional pacing. I believe yoga is not a trend or an exclusive space, but a practice that supports resilience, balance, and overall well-being. My goal is to create classes that feel grounded, supportive, and adaptable so that every student can show up as they are and leave feeling stronger, steadier, and truly supported.

Kaycee Dexter
I’m Kaycee, a Pilates instructor trained through Balanced Body and a certified Pathologist’s Assistant with a Master’s in Science. I have a passion for using my anatomical knowledge to help clients understand their bodies while building strength, flexibility, balance, and preventing injury. After struggling to stay physically healthy following years of intense collegiate sports training, I found and fell in love with Pilates, as it was the first modality that allowed me to find proper alignment and strength imbalances. When I’m not in the studio I enjoy reading, amateur painting, walking my two dogs Nova and Oakley and strength training.

Megan Blevins
Megan began her yoga journey by just supporting a friend's yoga practice. She quickly discovered how meaningful the practice became for her own mental and emotional wellbeing. Yoga helps her clear the mental fog and anxiety of daily life, and she often leaves the mat feeling calmer, more clear-headed, and better able to be present — as a parent, a professional, wife and a friend. Over time, yoga became an essential part of her personal growth, offering a grounding blend of movement, breath, and stillness. Yoga also introduced Megan to a powerful and uplifting community that helped her feel supported and seen. Inspired by that experience, she became a teacher to help create spaces where others can feel empowered, welcomed, and encouraged in their own journeys. Outside the studio, Megan works in a very sedentary field, which makes movement a vital part of her self-care. Her classes focus on mindful strength, fluid movement, and creating space to reconnect with your body in a way that feels grounding, supportive, and accessible.

Mary Ivey
My name is Mary Ivey and I am a recovering high school teacher turned yogi, raising 3 kids in SWMO. I believe in the power of manifestation, and that movement can be medicinal and healing. When I’m not in the studio, I’m chasing my own juvenile delinquents. I have been teaching for nine years. I am a Leo, so do with that what you will. I'm a big fan of human rights and Dr. Pepper Zero.

Destiny Campbell
I am a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor with a deep passion for helping others reconnect with their strength—both physically and mentally. I believe movement is more than fitness—it’s a pathway to mental wellness, resilience, and self-discovery. Through yoga and pilates, I guide students to build strength, improve mobility, and cultivate mindfulness in a supportive and empowering environment. Beyond the studio, I serve as a humanitarian and safety professional, which deeply influences my teaching approach. Creating safe spaces is at the heart of everything I do. I am passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and capable as they move through their own healing journeys. My goal is simple: to help you feel stronger, calmer, and more connected—on and off the mat.

Mckinzie Scott
McKenzie came to yoga through a desire to feel more connected in her body and to move with intention. Through her own practice, she discovered the power of breath and awareness in supporting presence, clarity, and balance — tools she values sharing with others. As a RYT 200 instructor, McKenzie focuses on creating classes that feel supportive, intentional, and approachable. Her teaching emphasizes clear guidance, thoughtful sequencing, and mindful transitions, allowing students to move with confidence and awareness rather than pressure or performance. With a background in professional dog training, McKenzie brings strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability into the yoga space. She understands that every body learns differently. She approaches each class with the same mindset she brings to training — meeting individuals where they are, offering structure and encouragement, and creating an environment built on trust. McKenzie values cultivating a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable showing up as they are, connecting to their breath, and building a steady, sustainable practice.

Olivia Portis
I found yoga after stepping away from my sport due to an injury, and then mental block, that challenged both my confidence and identity as a former athlete. While navigating through traumas and health issues after, I began seeking a more holistic path toward healing. Through yoga, I discovered that strength is not just physical. These past 4 years, my mat became a space to regulate my nervous system and rebuild trust and love within myself. My classes reflect my journey, bringing intentional movement with an upbeat and empowering flow. My goal is for every student to leave feeling stronger and more confident in both their body and mind.

Beth Perkins
Beth Perkins is equal parts organizer, motivator, and community builder. With 10 years as a paramedic and experience in search and rescue, she thrives in high-energy environments where quick thinking and heart both matter. She later moved into healthcare education, working with the University of Missouri School of Medicine and continuing to teach across multiple specialties. These days, Beth channels that same drive into event coordination—bringing people together through creative, high-impact events and local collaborations. Whether she’s planning a large-scale gathering or leading a fitness class, her goal is always the same: create connection, energy, and a little bit of magic. A former fitness instructor in barre, Tabata, and TRX, Beth is back doing what she loves at Awake & Align in Republic. When she’s not working or teaching, you’ll find her crafting, spending time with family, out on the water, or unwinding with a little Lego Fortnite. Mountain views will always win her heart.

Chelsea Moore
Hi, I'm Chelsea. I’m 29 years old. I love to dance. I’v e been a certified instructor for one year now. My first certification was through the studio by Jame Kinkeade, “Jam Dance Fitness Independent Instuctor”. My second certification is through Badass Mama Fitness Online Instructor, “Building Baddies”, and Baddies Dance Fitness. I found my passion for dance fitness about five years ago. I was going through a tough time in my life, and I needed something to help me get through the pandemic and something for my mental and physical health. I took a dance fitness class at a local family center. I fell in love, but unfortunately, the pandemic happened, and they stopped doing classes. From there, I had to take a break from dance fitness, and it was so heartbreaking. Eventually, I started a new job, got a new schedule, and I finally got to branch out and try a new studio. Since going to that studio, I have gained so much mental and physical inspiration, which has led me to where I am today as a dance fitness instructor. I’m so thankful and blessed to be able to move, teach,, and spread the word of Jam and Baddies to everyone in the community. I hope that it, too, brings them to a happy place in their life. Dance fitness is good in so many ways: it’s a stress reliever, it builds your mental and physical health, it helps you through anxiety and depression, and you build friendships and bonds. I can’t wait to see you in one of my classes!

Brandy Knight
I have been practicing yoga for over three years and earned my RYT-200 in 2025. What started as a way to manage a busy lifestyle quickly became something much deeper-an anchor, a reset, and a space to simply breathe. In my classes, you can expect a blend of strength, balance, and mindful movement, all guided by your breath and what your body needs that day. I strive to create a space where you can step away from the noise, reconnect with yourself and leave feeling stronger-both physically and mentally. When I’m not on my mat, you will find me by the pool in the summer time or experimenting in the kitchen.

Meleah Morales
Energetic, motivating, and deeply passionate about movement, Meleah is a dance fitness instructor who brings joy, balance, and connection to every class. A practicing pediatrician and devoted mom of three young children, she understands firsthand the demands of a busy life and the importance of making time for both physical and mental wellbeing. She earned her Zumba license in 2015 while in medical school, seeking a positive outlet to manage stress—and it quickly became a lifelong passion. Blending her medical knowledge with her love for music, movement, and vibrant Latin rhythms, Meleah creates high-energy classes that are as beneficial as they are fun. Known for her warm, inclusive style, she fosters a sense of community where friendships grow and participants feel supported at every level. Her approach goes beyond fitness—she emphasizes the powerful impact movement has on overall health, happiness, and resilience. Whether she’s caring for patients, raising her family, or leading a class, Meleah is dedicated to helping others feel strong, confident, and uplifted through the power of dance.
